CEVRO Institute is a private college founded in 2005. It is located in the very centre of the city of Prague—the capital of the Czech Republic. CEVRO Institute offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in political science and international relations, public administration, sociology and business law. Besides its research activities CEVRO Institute is renowned for numerous international academic conferences, seminars and workshops focused on diverse issues related to politics, economics, law, philosophy and other academic disciplines.
The college seeks to conduct research on various academic issues with practical impacts. For instance, Prague Centre of Transatlantic Research (PCTR) is focused on the research in the security issues in Europe and transatlantic area. It regularly organizes various conferences and workshops related to domestic and international security. Moreover, it is actively participating in preparing the security strategy of the Czech Republic.
New Perspectives on Political Economy is a peer-reviewed semi-annual bilingual interdisciplinary journal, published since 2005 in Prague. The journal aims at contributing to scholarship at the intersection of political science, political philosophy, political economy and law.
